I consistently love an easy-to-throw-on sweater that feels fresh and current. I paired this one with a cute pair of printed cut-off shorts to balance out the slouchiness, and added a straw fedora for texture - all recent Gap finds might I add, and sure to be on regular rotation this summer!

I love how a black and white print can effortlessly pair with almost any other coloured print for a slightly edgy feel.

If you're wondering who the cute furball is, that's Parker, who we had the pleasure of dog-sitting yesterday. I feel like he instantly enhances these pictures, don't you think?

5. The best way to make coffee requires a Ceramic Dripper, freshly ground beans, and a Buono kettle.

Winery-Bound

A day of wine tasting and touring requires the comfiest of skirts, a loose top, walkable sandals and a cute hat and shades to protect against the sun.  Also, if you're ever exploring Napa Valley's beautiful wineries, I highly recommend V. Sattui Winery and Castello di Amorosa (pictured above).

Even though this dress needed a little bit of tailoring, I loved it instantly for it's bright unique pattern and classic sheath shape. Easily dressed up or down, I anticipate it being a versatile summer staple this season.

SF Snapshots

Had a fantastic time in SF the last few days! That city never fails to impress me. Here are some snapshots of my favourite moments.

1. The Palace of Fine Arts simply exudes beauty.
2. A ticket to Steve's graduation ceremony.
3. A new pair of sunglasses from Madewell.
4. Sidewalk stairs make the climb to the top of Nob Hill a little easier.
5. I never tire of the scenic view of Golden Gate.
6. Decided it was time for a new wallet and fell instantly in love with the bright colour of this Kate Spade one.
7. You can't visit SF without indulging in some delicious Mexican food. My Fave? Taqueria Cancun's pollo quesadillas.
8. Graduation Day in front of City Hall.
9. Completely obsessed with Blue Bottle Coffee, especially the Mint Plaza location.

3. Not being a fan of raisins, I was ecstatic when a co-worker brought me a loaf of sans-raisin cinnamon bread from a local farm in Ottawa. I've never understood why is's so difficult to find cinnamon bread without raisins in Canada.
4. The beautiful cherry blossom trees that line the streets on my route to work, that often make me reminiscent of this SF neighbourhood.
5. The view from Ontario Place - a pit stop during one of Nike's "Free Run" events.
6. Saturdays spent lounging over one of my favourite Canadian magazines, Lou Lou.
7. Treats from the absolute best coffee/donut cafe in the city - Little Nicky's.
7. The CN tower is always in sight.
8. Authentic Italian margaretta pizza from Gusto.

Film Inspired

In anticipation for seeing The Great Gatsby tonight, I couldn't help but add a few inspired accessories to my look today. I love how a popular period film can completely enthuse modern day pop culture and fashion. Art-deco inspired pieces are everywhere lately and I can't get enough.
